My approach

Working Together

I have 15+ years of experience providing counseling, and administering psychological evaluations. My approach is to help students identify areas of strength in order to increase self-awareness and self-esteem. I have a calm demeanor that is valuable when listening to concerns, identifying strategies and developing goals and interventions. My services also include providing information and support to parents. As much as my experience includes helping children, it includes being an ally for parents. As a parent myself, I understand that having someone who listens to your experiences regarding your child’s behavior and struggles, and with whom you can share your ideas and experiences is validating and invaluable. Unlocking Potential

I understand the learning/special education process, and am instrumental in helping families identify and obtain appropriate services for your child. During my experience working in various school systems, I worked collaboratively with students, parents, teachers, administrators and outside providers. As a licensed psychologist, I continue to collaborate with school teams and other providers. As parents learn more about their child’s struggles, particularly with ADHD, they reflect that their school experience was similar, and wonder if they perhaps had ADHD growing up. More and more parents are seeking information to learn about adult ADHD. I am happy to help guide this process.
